Rotel 2002 Lineup - specifically the RSP-1066 surround preamp (1 Viewer)

I ripped this off someone on the AVSForum.
Rotel have not updated their online content (which reflects the 2001 series) however they do have a new 2002 PDF catalog with some *lovely* new products.

Of note is their dead sexy looking RSP-1066 which has dpl2, ac3-ex and dts-es discrete and hdcd.
There's no doubt that this looks a lot more aesthetically pleasing than the 950.
Download, have a look and drool. There's a back panel shot as well but this is more a glamour catalog rather than a technical one.
Looks like an interesting year all round.

Hopefully it "reviews better" than Rotel's latest pre/pro's. (the rsp-985 on www.audioreview.com)
Got the Crystal DSP chip. I'll *bet* that's the same chip as the Outlaw.
Wish it had more than one multichannel analog input (SACD/DVD-A).
Gotta like the sub xover!
But does it deliver 6.1/7.1 sound from 5.1 discs?
