Hi All,

I plany on setting up my HT in our new Family Room. Due to many factors during framing I had to make the room 16x17'. I know a square room is not optimal for sound but are there ways to work around this?

Bob,

Yes, a square room is not ideal. The good news is you can greatly reduce the effects of a poor room shape by using acoustic treatment, especially bass traps.
