Room design - vaulted ceiling (1 Viewer)

As part of a long term project I intend to build a new dedicated HT.
I wish to re-create a room in the style of an "Electric Theatre". One essential style element is an vaulted ceiling, see pics on :

Will I get any peculiar accoustic effects from such a room design ?
(I will probably go for a low half epliptical section, room size expected to be 16' by 24').

Generally speaking they enhance the sound by not interfering with it as much as a flat one. there will still be a high Q single room mode, but it will be lower in frequency than for a typical 8fter.
