Ronin :SE w/ DTS ? (1 Viewer)

Anyone know if the Ronin:SE came out Oct.11th?
I heard it was due out then.
And it has DTS .

It´s released on R2UK as a digipack with DTS.

In what way is the Japanese much better? PQ? Audio is exactly the same, both have digipacking tec.. Dvdcompare ranks the UK edition as the better one.

Are you sure, because all the Japanese UE I have and those my friends have are only halfrate? And this review from Dvdtherapy says that the Japanese edition only has a halfrate track, and I´m pretty sure that´s correct.

So it seems that there is no differences between the both editions, except for the extra material.

I own the R2 Japanese UE version, because I didn't want to have to worry about the PAL speed-up issue, but I couldn't say if the dts track is full-bitrate or not, it sure sounds alot better than the R1 version though!

Yeah, I got the R2 version of Ronin but I can't seem to access the DTS track from any of the menus...

Just press the audio button on your DVD remote & it should come up with the DTS track.

Incidently this disc is the 1st time I've noticed Vertical Banding on my AE300 PJ
