Have you ever given the thought of introducing subs in the 300-500 dollar range???

Do you think you'll ever design a traditional cubed sub (just like how Dr. Hsu started with sonotubes and now makes the VTF series)?

    Any response is welcome...

I got a 25-31 for $399 and a 250w plate amp for $129, that is a grand total of just under $550, sounds much better than that, I actually feel kind of guilty.

    Kelly,

Funny you should bring this up. I was just talking to Tom and...

    I mean. Uhhhh. "No comment".

(The real answer, when it comes, will not be expected.)

Stay tuned for more non-answers ;^).

    Rodney,

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that plate amp? and how is it working out for you?

Did you have to make any mods to the amp or was it a "plug-and-play" deal?

    Thanks,

    Ed

Yep thats the one. I can't believe how much power it has, I have it turned to about 1/4, and my pre/pro is fairly low as well.

it is working great, plenty of power. I changed the bass boost to add 3 db at 20-23 Hz (with help from Tom), and now my sysytem is flat to below 20 Hz (that is with a 25-31 unit). I love it.
