Yep, saw them last night Kelley. The "bathtub in hell" shot looks really damn good.
I'm so so very happy that Konami is doing a third game. Something I've noticed thus far in the latest batch of screenshots is there is no "fog" Silent Hill as of yet. It is rather early in the games development but I'm suprised. Though I think the removal of "fog" Silent Hill may be a good thing to keep the series fresh (Not to mention the machine gun[IMG]). This ones looking much more along the lines of the first Silent Hill story wise (in feel that is)....
Kelley it looks like we are in for some more pants pooping fear. I can't wait.

I do hope they keep the film grain effect in.

And one of the levels is called a school...oh man I pooped my pants so many times in SH1's school.

I liked Silent Hill 2's storyline because of how psychological and twisted it was, but I hope that SH3 is something like a mix of the first two games.

I love the Silent Hill games. Actually I haven't played SH2 as I just received it in the mail two days ago but I'm waiting until nighttime to play it! [IMG] The screens sure look awesome and scary! [IMG]

The topic had me cracking up big time.
I'm looking forward to this one.
Wonder if there will be any hidden tie-ins to the other games???

Those screen grabs were awesome. The bathtub was pretty gruesome and that Red Light pic was beautiful.

one reason why i didnt understand silent hill 2 because of the fact that i just started speaking english 2 years ago.

i found that all of the clues ( the ones that looked like poem ) were confusing and didnt make sense.

well i will get silent hill 3 simply because i like to be scared! turn off the light, turn of the sound system, wear socks so my toes are not freezing, then off i go.

oh! btw, here is the list of the games that scared me to death :

unreal - in the first level, where my character was trapped in a long hallway, and the lights went off one by one. suddenly a lion like growl was heard...BOO!!!

tomb raider - the trex wet my pants. and there were a few other levels whose atmosphere was really creepy. the sequels didnt have anything like that.

aliens versus predator - i havent played the second one, but the first one was damn scarry.

silent hill2 - nuff said. but i havent played the first one.

resident evil games didnt scare me at all, but they did make me jump on several occasions. also half life.
