Rolling Stones SACDs delayed until September or October? (1 Viewer)

Micahel, in addition, the ad for the new Stones discs in the Best Buy flier distributed this past Sunday makes no mention of SACD whatsoever. These discs are replacing the original CDs, so I fully expect them to be in the CD sections of all stores.

I must have missed something! Are these Hybrids? From Sony?

Jeff, the Stones discs will be hybrids, but they will be released by ABCKO, not Sony.

Gotcha, thanks. I was confused by the comments above regarding Sony sources disputing the release. Should have figured Sony hadn't turned a corner yet. :rolleyes

Yeah, Sony is walking a very long block very slowly. I think the corner keeps getting farther and farther away. :frowning:
