Finally took the plunge and purchased a Roku Premiere. Buyer beware, though - no phone support and no chat support for this product!

The only Roku device I ever needed support for was my 2016 model year Ultra, due to all the firmware bugs I encountered -- included one update that bricked the unit, requiring it be sent in for a new unit (and I had to pay to ship it to California).

We currently have 5 Roku boxes in our house, and I have owned some of their older models over the years, too. Other than the Ultra mentioned above, I have never required their tech support.
