WHAT?!?! Oh no...how terrible. Sigh...he was a great guy. Definitely will be missed.
Sorry to hear this guys... One of my favorite comedians ever. They just don't make them like this anymore...
One of the few Vegas-era comedians I actually find funny. Goodbye Rodney! Thanks for the
My favorite Dangerfield line- "I was poor as a kid. Poor, poor poor. Why, if I wasnt born a boy, I wouldn'ta had nothing to play with."
I heard he was in a coma for the past couple of weeks, sad news. RIP Rodney.
Wow, didn't realize he died till I saw this post. What a shock. I hadn't realized he was in a coma the past few weeks. Very sad, he was one of the best comics.
First Janet Leigh, then Rodney Dangerfield...Who's next? Sincerely, John Kilduff... "Say when..." "Right after this drink!"
Farewell, Rodney Rest in Peace. I bet they'll finally give you some respect.
Two legends in two days...it is a shame...but at least his pain has ended. He will be missed.
That's too bad. This is the first I've heard about it.. I'll watch Caddyshack tonight in remembrance...... (on a side note: I remember seeing him recently on a talk-show(conan??/kimmel??), he looked pretty bad)
Damn, I think it's especially bad when we lose comedians. Rest in peace, Rodney Dangerfield.
Rodney, you'll get your respect now.
Here is an excerpt from the AP story: Rodney always had our respect.
Rodney had a typical Rodney line when he spoke to reporters at the hospital just before he was admitted for his heart operation: "If everything goes right, I'll be out in about three weeks. If it doesn't, I'll be out in about an hour and a half." RIP Rodney. I'll bet Lenny Bruce was waiting at the gate to meet you. Regards, Joe
I'm about to go into the hospital, myself. When asked how long I'll be in, I "borrow" his line about 'If everything goes right...' Hope this isn't a bad omen! Amen, Michael--Rodney always had our respect.
Best of luck, Peter, and get well soon! Joe
