Any opinion on why one would be "better" than the other? They use the same tweeter (voiced differently, I assume).

Anybody had a chance to compare them directly? I do like the fact that Polks come in black ash.

    Thoughts?

I've never heard the Rockets but I have the Lsi's in my HT. I can't imagine a better speaker than the Lsi's for the price. I'm not the only person that feels this way, check out this link. http://www.onhifi.com/product.shtml

Go to www.audioenvy.com and see if you can hook up a demo for the rockets. That way you don't have to risk shipping costs to get a chance to listen to them.
P.S. An ebony version of the rockets is supposedly in the works and due out sometime in February. It won't be completely black, but should be nice.

I've got a full set up of LSi's and love em. Never heard the rockets, but don't think I'll be replacing my Polks for a long time [IMG]
