So has anyone seen anything about a release for this in the near future? or distant future for that matter. Ive seen most every other Mel Brooks Movie mentioned on here. and I cant believe Dracula: Dead & Loving it will see release before it.

I've said it once and I'll say it again. This is the ONLY catalog title that has yet to come out that I HAVE to own. The rest of you guys can wait for Star Wars (certainly nothing wrong with that), but all I want is Robin Hood Men in Tights.

"Hey Blinkin"
"Did you say Abe Lincoln?"

"Are you with me? Yay or Nay? "
" Well which one means yes? "

" This is Ahchoo. "
" A Jew? Here? "
" No no, not a Jew. Ahchoo."

"Robin, you lost your arms in battle.............but you grew some nice boobs though."

This movie is absolutely hilarious, and clever at the same time. I've been wanting this on DVD for ages, and hopefully it'll be before too long. If I remember, Peter Staddon from the Fox chat a few months back said we'd see a few Mel Brooks films released before the end of 2004.....so let's hope this is one of them!

Is Mel Brooks done? Making movies I mean? Man I love those films.

Quick check of IMDB and he hasn't made any since Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

Although what's funny is it looks like their doing a remake of The Producers with Broderick and Lane.

Funny description from IMDB:I find that "Bringing the musical to the big screen" quote rather funny since it was originaly bringing the movie to the stage. This is really a remake.

I believe so. I've certainly heard nothing about any Mel Brooks movie since then, and reportedly he is now hard at work on Young Frankenstein: The Musical.

Looking forward to the movie of The Producers. I love the original, and am planning to see the Australian production later this year. They say Lane and Broderick's performances are great, so it will be nice to have some kind of record of that to pass on down for posterity.

(this is not acurate)
Little John - "This is my son, Will Scarlet"
Will - "My full name is Will O'Hara Scarlet"
Robin, Blikin, and Achoo looks at Will, blankly
Will - "We're from Georgia...":D

Man in audience - "He gets another shot. Let's give him the Chop!"
Audience starts doing the Atlanta Braves Chop

Two Georgia references in one movie! Priceless! :D
