This silent (obviously) version of Robin Hood is playin in San Antonio.
I'm tempted, but, really, it's almost 3 hours long.
Can anyone recommend this? It is Douglas Freaking Fairbanks after all!

It's definitely time well spent. A masterpiece, only pushed out of place by the Flynn version. As expected, the sets are spectacular.

PS: AFAIK, it's only a little over two hours long (unless it's being played at the wrong speed).

It's quite well done, although for myself, I find that silent action/adventure films don't quite hold up (silent comedies fare much better for me). Still, if you've never seen it before, and you like this type of film (silent action/adventure), then this is one of the best, and probably the best film of 1922. But I too remember this as more of a two hour film than a 3 hour film.

The theater has it listed as being 2 hours and 50 minutes. According to the IMDB there is a 120 and a 162 minute version.
Thanks for the comments. I have not had a chance to see this yet.
