I loved him in Hairspray. Sorry to hear about it.
He got kicked out of the same Catholic elementary school both my kids went to... funny. Of course not too many nuns there these days.A Baltimore native like John Waters

Very sad, but inevitable. When I think of all the great pop icons from the 80's that are no longer with us - Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, George Michael, Robert Palmer, Prince, etc. it truly breaks my heart. The passage of time is a cruel test of the frailty of human longevity. We come, make a mark - if we can - then pass quietly into the night, hopefully, to be remembered by others along the way. There are no guarantees. And in the end, all we have, we surrender to another time and place. Hail and farewell, then to Ric Ocasek - now and forever - truly - among the stars.
Love the Cars and was sad to hear the news about Ric.
Was there any filming of their tour for their last album Move Like This?
Bryan H. Emotion in Motion is my favorite Ocasek song.
