Amazing how much of Australian cinema continues to be influenced by Walkabout to this day. Great director, a true auteur.

Saw a few months ago Performance, Walkabout, and The Man Who Fell to Earth from my disc collection. Very gifted director who made his films his way.

It's difficult for me to access if Nicolas Roeg was a household name within the United States; but for true lovers of film, insiders and film-makers, his was a world-wide ripple effect of influence. Mr. Roeg's work was indelible and with "Walkabout", alone, he remains well situated for standing the test of time. Rest in Peace.

Dad to read of Mr. Roeg’s passing. Walkabout remains a great achievement and one of my top three films filmed in Australia. Don’t Look Now is in my opinion a masterpiece. Thank you and RIP Mr. Roeg.
