Not a huge name, but at least two iconic roles

I believe Joe Turkel was in two Bowery Boys movies, Angels In Disguise from 1949 and Lucky Losers from 1950. Sad to learn that he passed away.

I remembered him in some Bowery Boys movies. Frankly, I thought he was already dead and was surprised to read about his passing at 94.

And, of course, Blade Runner and his iconic performance as Lloyd the bartender in The Shining. I always enjoyed his work. Peace, Mr, Turkel.

I forgot about Triple Trouble, that's another Bowery Boys movie Joe Turkel was in, also from 1950.

Joe Turkel was adept at playing these gangster types and that's the role he has with the three Bowery Boys movies he was in.
