I saw Overlord tonight and the craziest thing happened before it started. They did the preshow where you see the different people watching the movie and I’m ready for Popcorn Guy to throw his popcorn everywhere like he always does, but he didn’t. He just sat there calmly munching on his popcorn like a normal person. Has anyone else noticed this difference?

Do you go to AMC a lot? I know EXACTLY who "Popcorn Guy" is - he's the spaz during the AMC promo who over-reacts to a scary scene and jerks popcorn all over the place.

I'm gonna see at least one - and maybe 2 - movies at AMC this weekend. I'll see if Popcorn Guy survives in my area!

I guess because I saw Saturday's movie via Dolby Cinema, they didn't run the usual AMC bumper, so no sign of Popcorn Guy at all.

Sunday's movie was at a "regular" screen, and they ran the bumper with Non-Spilling Popcorn Guy.

Tragic, sad day for all of us!
