Yes a sad day. Eddie Trunk played a little bit of an interview from a couple of years ago, and he came across as a good, down to earth guy. Fascinating story of how he quit the N.Y. police force to pursue music.

Brad here. Got the news this morning that one of my biggest musical heroes was taken to Heaven by God.
Eddie Money And his music was a big part of my latter teen years and college days.
Copied below is my online tribute to Eddie. The First picture is from Senior Prom 1978 (Lumen Cordium High School) 1978, the main prom theme being “Two Tickets To Paradise”.
(Memorial pic from WPXI, Pittsburgh. Excellent work WPXI).
Godspeed Eddie Money !

Brad Here. John, this really hits home for me. Back in 1978 I took a lovely girl
( Brettine Morris) to her high school prom and the main theme was “Two Tickets To Paradise”. Oh we were so young then still in our teens and Eddie Money was one of my biggest rock n roll heroes.
There’s so much I could say about Eddie and the wonderful musical gifts he gave us but this posting would be over 3 pages long. So I’ll say Thank You Eddie for your amazing music and how it enriched my life and the lives of millions of people. Godspeed!
In Eddie’s honor this December Kyrsten and I plan on Shakin big time with those Two Tickets To Paradise on our Club Michelle Caribbean cruise.
The Lord has you in Heaven now Eddie and you’ll be Rockin the angels up there.
