The acclaimed actor, acclaimed for his work on a diverse range of shows including "Homicide: Life on the Street", "Men of a Certain Age", and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" has passed away at 61 after a brief illness.
This deeply saddens me as I truly was in awe of his work as a actor. His performances as Detective Pembelton are some of the finest bits of acting I've ever seen on television. He gave a certain life to each charcter he played that was unique and different from the last. Rest in peace sir
Horrible news... He always amplified a story. ...randomly, I just watched 2004's "Salem's Lot" remake (via Walmart's $5 DVD bin). Mixed reviews, I know. Andre Braugher repeatedly got strong reviews for his acting in it.
....Blessing and condolences to his friends and family.
