Charles or Universal:
If Legend indeed becomes an "Ultimate Edition", please don't use that awful clear packaging (i.e. American Pie, Meet Joe Black). Stick to a double amaray or better yet, a double alpha. Thanks, I needed to get that off my chest.

I agree, double alpha is preferred.

I haven't paid to much attention to what the cases are called, but I prefer smaller & thinner cases. I don't want my DVD collection to look like a bunch of VHS tapes!

I am not really one to make a big stink about packaging, but if this disc is a Universal CE (like it was originally supposed to be) I would perfer the use of the double Amaray. This way the packaging would complement the other Universal CE's I own which are in single keepcases.

Shoot, they can give it to me in a jewel case for all I care. Just RELEASE the damn thing.

There's no guarantee that the cover art is going to remain as is. Don't forget it's been delayed nearly a year.....

JohnE , I like that idea. With all that extra space, I would have to collect more DVDs.

I feel ya. A brown paper bag would be fine at this point.
However, Charlie De L. (bless his heart) said in his DVDFile interview that there's just a bit of tweaking left to be done and the extra year has allowed them to work out a lot of bugs.

If you think you are paranoid about the packaging for this Ridley Scott flick, you should see who owns the rights for the upcoming Blade Runner SE. Can you say "Dual Snapper?"
Oh god. Please don't do this to us! :)
Either way, just give me Legend already.

Oh, I don't care what the package is. As long as it gets the disc to me undamaged, they can put it anything they want. Just release it, already!!!!
