I was given a roll of RG6 coaxial and was curious as to if this would make good interconnects for my system. I have thought of spending lots of money on brand name stuff but I would rather spend that money on better speakers, universial player, etc. I am pretty handy with diy projects and I would like to know if this is a way to go or not.

Well I just sort of answered my own question by digging further into the tweaking, connections and accessories pages here. Seems there is quite a bit of info there on doing what I was wanting to do. Thing is I did a search of sorts and it didn't give me any real returns.

I can't comment on its use for interconnects. However, it would be some fine cable for creating a subwoofer cable.
