I went to home depot and they said they didn't sell direct burial coaxial cable. I ended up purchasing regular RG6 cable. How long will this last buried? I'm debating on whether run it in conduit or just buying direct burial. Direct burial will be much better as far as terminations go, but I don't know who sells it. I need 120 feet.

Also, is regular shielded coax RG6 cable sufficient? They also sell quad shield cable. It isn't rated for direct burial either though.

The stuff buried in my front yard by the cable company for internet access is exactly the same as I purchase at Lowes to wire my house. By the time it wears out you will have long been moved.
