Does anyone make a laserdisc player that does not requre a RF-Demodulator for AC-3 playback? I thought that the cld-d704 from Pioneer was one but I wasn't sure.

To my knowledge, no such players were manufactured. Several after-market outfits retrofitted players with built-in demodulators and resold them, but I think most people rightly recognized that it was a poor arrangement (get a new player, and you'd need to do the retrofit all over again).

The Pioneer CLD-704 definitely needs a demodulator.

Some receivers have (or had) built-in demodulators, so you didn't have to buy one separately. Just hook in the laserdisc player, like any other bit of equipment. This was during the beginning of the end for laserdisc a few years ago. They are probably harder to find nowadays.

Stand alone RF demodulators are still available and can be purchased to use with receivers which do not have this capability. I checked availability several monts ago and posted on HTF in response to a question.
