Has anybody seen this? Is it worth getting it looks interesting.

Is this the Bill Pullman movie about the end of the world as prophesied in the bible? If so, I saw it when it first aired on TV and I enjoyed it immensely. The ending could have been better though. I wasn't aware that it was out on DVD. I will have to pick up a copy.


If you're not sure about the movie, I'd suggest that you rent it first.

We enjoyed the series when it aired, too, and bought the DVD. Beware, thought, that though the picture is "Letterboxed", it's oddly not anamorphic.

Still, we've enjoyed it again on the big-screen TV with the picture enlarged to fill the screen. It's a little fuzzy, but better than the over-the-air picture.
