I have a Tanno PS115 sub. The sub is a monster in terms of size /weight and the performance is pretty good, but i get way too much port noise. There are 2 ports on it(i believe they are 3" each) and they are no more than 5" - 6" deep .. I keep both of them open. During high-bass scenes (like opening to Superbits Fifth Element), i get way too much port noise (farting/burping) and its very disruptive to teh experience.. makes me feel like i have a cheap system [IMG]
what i'm wondering is this... could I get a tuned FLARED port and retrofit the box with it? I dont mind modifying the box if the results are going to be worth it. Alternately, i'm thinking of selling the sub and building a sonosub or something.
    all suggestions welcome
