Reset Lamp Timer (1 Viewer)

My bulb finally went in the Sharp XV-ZW99U. I have tinkered enough to remove the bulb and can install a new one - but how do you reset the lamp timer?

Does anyone know? Thanks for any assistance!

Is there a vast conspiracy to hide this information or is there just no one on the planet earth that knows?

I've searched the web (and this site) and can only find several years worth of people asking. No record of anyone ever answering or anyone finding an answer. Some of the askers were apparently near mental breakdown in frustration! I mean Lara Croft, Indiana Jones, and Forrest Gump combined apparently cannot find this answer even with the aid of two enigma machines, and ENIAC computer, and MacGyver-like cunning.

As an incentive to the first person who gives information leading to the reset of my lamp timer, I will provide that person with (via PM) the secret of our very existance (incidentally a comparatively simple answer to find).

Hey scott L, AWESOME JOB! I had gotten the answer emailed to me just before seeing your message. I emailed one of the people who wrote those reviews and he replied with the amswer. Having it verified is GREAT!!

But in short yes I tried HT stores in the area, Sharp Website, BestBuy (the retailer listed on the Sharp website as the ONLY authorized dealer...).

My lamp timer is at almost exactly 1410 hours by the way.

The most classic answer I got was at a local HT/TV repair shop who said "Bring it in and we'll give you an ESTIMATE on resetting it. The estimate will cost 60 dollars and we should have the estimate for you in 10 days"!!!! I almost dropped my phone!
