Not sure where to post this ... does anyone know the customs implications of repatriating a used Classe pre-amp back to Canada? I would think that some or all of the import duties and tax would be waived?

I don't think so Larry. You have to pay tax on the "declared" value even if the package is a gift. I don't think there is a workaround unless you have a lower declared value. Then you take a chance with shipping damage or loss. I don't like it but unfortunately that's the way it is:thumbsdown:
