I have Boston acoustics VR965s and I but a nasty little scratch on the top. The finish is like a piano or the finish on a NHT if you don't know.. I have access to any tool, buffer or anything.. what could I use to fix it if I could?

I believe it was Julian Data who did that nice gloss black finish on his end caps. The best approach would be to lightly sand and re-spray, wet sand, buff. Can you mask that area of the cabinet?

Dean, great tip for those of us Definitive Technology BP owners. They have black gloss caps on the top and bottom that chip and scratch easily.

For under 20 bucks I don't think you can do much better, by the way I get mine here locally at a "as seen on tv" store in the mall. I'm sure there is one of these cheesy little places near you if you don't like shopping online, the're all over the place here [IMG]
