I use a Krell HTS 7.1 prepro and it has a user unfriendly trigger mechanization. You have to program all source devices to trigger the amp if you want the amp on whenever the prepro is on. Even then the triggering is unreliable. I just want to trigger my multichannel amp whenever the prepro is turned on (ideally I'd like to trigger the amp about 2sec after the prepro is turned on to give the prepro time to settle).

Is there a device made for the home theater market that is remotely controlled and can supply single/multiple 12V dc trigger(s)? Or do I have to make my own?

Also I've noticed that there is no standard for triggering connectors, some devices use bare wire connections, some use mono 3.5mm jacks, and some use 3.5mm stereo jacks. This ticks me off! [IMG]
