Remote control for SA10035 (1 Viewer)

I just got Delphi Roady SA10035 from bestbuy today. Overall I really like the unit but I don't like the tuning button.
I wish they had up and down button.
I went to XM website and they have a remote control
Model Number Model: SA10042-11P1 Remote control
I read through the whole manual book and there's no mention anywhere If remote control is optional. I really like to buy one but want to make sure that it will work with my unit. Does anybody know ?
