Did anybody see the South Park episode with "It?" I never watch South Park, but that one caught my attention and I was rolling on the floor with laughter. Oh man, I never thought South Park could be so funny! "Hey...it's better than dealing with the airlines." [IMG] [IMG]

yeah, a scooter that is very hard to tip over is going to revolutionize society. sometimes hype is just that [IMG]
now, if someone can come up with a technology that can identity certain people within large underground cave structures, pulse those caves with waves that make the cave structure collapse, then verify that the certain people in the cave are, indeed, dead, then you will have something truly special [IMG]

Paul, I'd buy a scooter that couldn't tip over... seriously.

But yes, I am curious to see what It is. I was actually thinking about it last week, wondering what became of It.... I'm excited to find out, even if it turns out to become a dud.

I think Faith No More needs to jump all over this cash cow with a 2001 remix of "Epic."
    "It's it! What is it?"
    "It's it! What is it?"
    "It's it! What is it?"
    "Yeah, yeah, yeah"
Sorry for the obscure 80's rock reference. Please resume normal programming... [IMG]

I work in IP Law and kept hoping I would catch some inside information. Obviously our firm wasn't dealing with this particular invention but I remember all the initial hype.
IT is definitely a transportation device and/or an environmentally sound transportation propellant, similar to a scooter. That is my very uneducated guess, at least. [IMG]

How about if IT were that pill that Leeloo pops into the microwave/hydrater dealy that transformed into a whole, baked chicken! Now that would change the way I live forever. Sorry, just watched Fifth Element.

Am I just tired from studying for finals? Is there something to "get" here that I am not "getting?" Is this story for real? [IMG]

Ok..I admit..I am "IT"!!! A Scooter that can not tip over...although I have been known to wobble when indulging in adult beverages! As for running on Hydrogen...I never called it that...but I can get'em to flame up with a lighter if I push hard enough.

Actually, I just saw a promo for monday's Good Morning America that "IT" will debut there this coming monday.

Well, whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be interesting. The inventor is a genius! Check out the invention he's most famous for now:

Hey Andy - I work for the company that makes the gyro sensors for that wheelchair. It's a very cool technology. Unfortunately, I don't work on the design end of the sensor itself. I work on the manufacturing engineering side. I help do the engineering of how we manufacture them. But I sit very close to the design engineers! [IMG]
Here's a link to a page that explains the theory of the gyro sensors. If I remembor correctly, that wheelchair uses like 12 of our sensors. Then once you have the sensors you just need some fancy controllers and you've got a stable 2-wheeler.

Cool. I've heard talk that the scooter might use this technology. Have you heard anything about having to produce a big batch of them soon?
