Does anyone have the press release for Universal's reissue of this title, specifically, whether it is a new anamorphic transfer?

PS. Nice spelling in the thread title... should be reliable...

I'm pretty certain that this will be a new anamorphic transfer, otherwise I would not have pencilled it in, as I have the Image disc.

I recieved my copy of Slaughterhouse Five yesterday. It has a clean, sharp anamorphic transfer, Jeff.

"I'm mad about being old and I'm mad about being American. Apart from that, (I'm) OK." - Kurt Vonnegut, who turned 80, quoted recently.

A truly great man. As long as there are people like Vonnegut living in America, then I won't give up hope. [IMG]

Thanks Gordon. I had seen the back cover image at DVD Empire with the anamorphic transfer listed, so I have it ordered. The Image disc was one of the best nonanamorphic transfers I've seen, so this one should be interesting to compare.
