HTF II – DVD wager

Feeling confident? Wanna win a stack of DVDs?

Here’s the proposition: If your team wins the HTF II league, all those who have agreed to this wager will send you a DVD of their (the losers) choice.

If there is enough interest, we’ll mutually hammer out the details.

I apologize for the late notice, but great ideas throughout history have often been last-minute

You already know I am in. I'll prepackage one of my no longer needed double dip DVDs just in case injury derails my championship run this year. Or maybe I'll send that copy of North by Northwest that has a layer of Space Jam encoded on it.

What!!! You're going to punish the winner by making him/her accept the DVDs from the losers collection (the poor winning sap will now get a stack of landfill staples such as "Laser Mission" added to their collection). I'm glad I dropped out when I did.

PS: Just kidding, but unfortunately I made other commits in other leagues (I'm in about 5 now and trying to get out of the other 10 I was in last year).

As if there should have ever been any doubt about the outcome, I have reclaimed my rightful position as champion on the HTF II Fantasy Football League. That's three championships in four years. You guys must be getting sick of the Happy Fun Baller dynasty.

The secret of my success? Larry Johnson, of course. That and selling my soul to the devil... just kidding... I'm renting it to him.

I'll give you guys a chance to blow off the whole DVD thing if you want because the last thing I really need is more DVDs, but if still want to do it then PM me so I can get you the contact info. And porn is out unless I get to preapprove the cast.

I'll give you your choice of 2 - the old non-SE of Unforgiven still sealed or Chloe in the Afternoon, a great film and one of my favorites, but it is in French and I know subtitles aren't everyone's cup o' tea. The DVD is also terrible, an old Fox Lorber crapfest I've since replaced with a better r2 edition.

Enticing, eh?

I won my 1st game and my last 2 but not much in the middle to finish 5-9. By the end of the season I only had 3 out of 16 draft picks left on my team, and of the 3, only Hines Ward was a contributor.
