    hi all -

kind of a weird question i guess...

if i hook up a regular power strip (no surge protection) to another strip (*with* surge protection) will that work?

would i "effectively" create a second protected surge strip?

    thx,

    ted

yes but just keep in mind not to create an overloaded situation. Ted, if that's one of those little $5 plug in the wall things, I wouldn't count on it having much stopping power as you're likely to maybe have one little MOV in it.

    thanks chu.

i've actually got a couple of good surge strips (one by isobar, can't remember the other one). i was in an "emergency" situation and did the above config.

i thought it would work, but wasn't 100%. it's probably not something i would do as a permanent setup.

    have a good one!
