Region-3 DVD Problems (1 Viewer)

I just received my Region-3 [NTSC] copy of DRIVEN (w/ DTS). When I play it on my laptop, there appear to be pulldown problems. Pans aren't always smooth, and there's some noticeable aliasing. When I play Region-1 NTSC discs, I do not experience such problems. Do Region-3 DVD's usually have 3:2 pulldown issues?

The HK studios are still really getting with the program. You didn't see ANY anamorphic titles until VERY recently for instance. So their compressionists are behind on things as well.
