Region 2 (UK) DTS-ES List (1 Viewer)

Just thought it might be useful to have a list of region 2 DTS-ES DVDs (Japanese discs with an English soundtrack are fine), much like the list for R1 here:

Im not going to include Dolby Digital EX releases since they are hardly ever properly flagged and hence rather akward. Only properly flagged titles will be listed. Please note all DTS-ES discrete sound tracks also include Matrix information. A * means it is confirmed.

DTS 5.1 titles are too common and are well documented in the DTS's own list here:

However the list given does not list the ES titles very well, alot of the titles I know are 6.1 (And are correctly flagged) are not listed as 6.1. If you know any additional titles that are 6.1 I'd love to hear of them, many titles are region 2 and 4 combined afterall.

I can confirm that Die another Day is as following:

it is not ES Discrete

I'm ashamed of myself but - can someone please tell me what "flagged" means ?

Flagged means that if your receiver is capable of kicking in ES or EX processing, it will do so if you have set the receiver up appropriately. It will also let you know if you can use EX or ES processing if you don't have it switched on.

Unflagged discs need to have ES processing manually switched on (and the receiver doesn't detect them as being ES, meaning that you need lists like the one above).

(This isn't a problem on my Marantz SR7200 which must have ES/EX manually kicked in for everything, although it does show ES flagging).

The Monsters inc info I got from a friends copy using his PowerDVD XP (My PDVDXP does not recognise DTS), I may have misunderstood it.

Im wondering about other Ministry of Sound releases. Their website does not list any details about their dvds but I tried the sunsets disc on a friends system and it was listed as DTS-ES discrete in the menu and on the box and seemed a decent mix in 5.1.
