would a region 0 multizone dvd play on any dvd player? I have a region 1 jvc player. Is region 0 universal or must I set the dvd player to read region 0; if possible.

Region 0 is universal; it will play on any dvd player in the world, assuming the player can play the format (NTSC or PAL) the dvd is encoded in.

From the wording, it sounds like you're looking at DVDs on Ebay. What specific titles are you looking at? Any major studio title will be a bootleg if it's region 0

    Unless it's an early Criterion.

I purchased Heart The Road Home DVD. Received it today and it played fine. It was a sealed copy. I do not see any specific region coding on the box, the seller must have made a description error by citing it being region 0. Thanks for the reply.
