Wal*Mart has a new one for $189.9X. I am cheap - but generally I stay away from refurbs/open box with moving parts I can't replace. You will still need a 4K rated HDMI cable for the new one.

I understand the hesitancy, but while that Walmart price is good it's still DOUBLE the cost of the refurb. If I was in the market for a cheap 4K player I think I'd be happy to roll the dice on this for $90. It has a 90-day warranty, and if there was anything mechanically wrong with it there's a good chance it would manifest during that period of time.
