Refoaming speakers (1 Viewer)

I need to get my Snell Accoustics type K/II speakers refoamed.

Two questions:

1) Is refoaming going to effect their sound?

2) Any suggestions where I can get this done in the L.A. area?

Craig. Point your browser to recone.com. They provide a listing of speaker repair services including re-coning. I was and still am considering reconing a 12" KLH woofer: Price $30 for a repair shop located in the Sacramento area.

I need to amend my previous reply: The repair shops do re-coning and repair of the foam surrounds.
