reference level question

    i have a denon 1802with paradigm minis up front,cc 370,micro rears,pdr 10 sub,what is a good reference level,it seems very loud at -15,in a 10x14 foot room,what do most of you set the volume at for "reference level"on most of your dvds?,thanks.

    Shane, check out the Beginners Primer and FAQ in the BASICS board (see bug on top) and HERE
    Once you calibrate to "reference" say 75dB or 85dB you are free to set your amp volume wherever you want during playback. It's different for everyone.
