Red Tint on New RPTV (1 Viewer)

I just bought the RPTV Hitachi 57uwx20b. Picture is great for Direct TV signal but has a red tint throughout the picture when I play Band of Brothers on my progressive scan DVD player.

Suggestions?

Probably a grayscale issue or a color decoder issue.

Not a serious problem, or a problem a quick little tweaking can't help fix.

If you really wanted it perfect spring for an ISF pro to come calibrate it.

Use the search engine... use the words "hitachi" and "red"

You should get some posts to get you started.
