Just had to post this picture! These speakers look awesome and I've heard a pair and they are fantastic. They are a little pricey though - $45,000/pair. Maybe in the future.
One thing I find amazing is that they have a 97 sensitivity at 8 ohms!

Red Rose makes nice speakers. Its Mark Levinson's new company since he sold out to Harman International. He makes great audio equipment and the bastard's married to Kim Cattrall of Sex and the City fame.

At the NY show in May, the Red Rose Music room was my 2nd favorite (to the Vandy and Cary V12s).
So simple, all they had was a pair of the R3s, a tube integrated amp, driven by (audiophile huff huff) a Sony 9000ES SACD player. That was the best part...
    Amazing coherance of sound...simply amazing.
The price is still up there...12k for the package above I mentioned. Though on Audiogon, you can buy the R3s for 2000 a pair. Not too shabby....Stereophile had a splendid review of them a few months ago.

    Jake,
Dont get me wrong, I mean they must be good speakers but 97db at 8Ohms amazes you? Have you heard Klipsch?
(or am I missing a joke or something)

Well, these aren't horn drivers, are they? With my limited experience, I think 97dB out of a non-horn speaker is pretty impressive. This speaker looks like it has dynamic ribbon drivers or something - what are those long white things? I have no idea how sensitive those things are. AFAIK, regular magnetics and electrostats are usually low sensitivity.

    Nick,
I'm just saying for a speaker that size (6' 3") it amazes me.
    Saurav,
Yes, that is a ribbon on the right side
