I guess they wanted to focus on the stars so they've repackaged this?

Is this a re-release? if it is, I'll remove the announcement. I am finding it more and more difficult to remember what has been previously released. Sorry for wasting anyone's time.

It was previously released as part of the illustrious "Paramount Presents" collection.

Yeah, a UHD/Bluray combo came out a year or so ago with a different cover. I think the movie is an excellent yet unsung thriller from Wes Craven so it's not a waste of time to remind everyone about it.

I'm confused. Why is this being re-released? Are Paramount that hard up for revenue that they're going back for reissues for recent titles?

As Brian noted, they may be trying to cash-in on Murphy's recent Oscar win, but it seems like they would have mentioned that on the cover (unless this art is not final).

Likely the Paramount Presents edition went OOP (it's no longer available on Amazon, anyway), and they are re-issuing a mass market version. Nothing terribly scandalous going on here.
