From the UK, which should be mirrored here in R1
    http://www.r2-dvd.org/article.jsp?se...articleId=4362
    (Cover art is at link)
    Cast and Crew Commentary
    Original BBC Series one trailer
A to Z of Red Dwarf
    Extended and deleted scenes
    Model effects shots (original 35mm)
    Smeg-ups (series one)
    Japanese Dubbed Clip
    Easter Egg
    Audio Elements.
They said on RD.com that it will NOT be the "Special Edition" SFX footage, I'm guessing that that's what they mean by "model effects shots"

Awesome! Now we need confirmation from Warner that they'll be releasing this in Region 1 at the same time!

I don't have any sort of offical information, but dvdempire now has three Red Dwarf dvds available for preorder. Red Dwarf: Series 1, Red Dwarf: Series 2, and Red Dwarf Series (2-Pack). Presumably, they're of Season 1, Season 2, and the both of them together. All are due to be released on 2/25/03.

The BBCAmerica and BBCCanada shops both have the same sets as dvdempire's.

It's gonna be hard waiting for Feb 25th.

Someone at The DVD Forums posted that CD Japan have a Series 1-4 boxset coming out around that time:
    http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=BBBF-9049
This is bloody annoying. The full Japanese episode on the Series 1 UK disc looks utterly dreadful due to PAL to NTSC conversion, but is also the remastered version, so maybe that's all the Japanese have ever had?
Anyhow, roll on series 2-6 over here!! I hope there are Grant-Naylor commentaries on the first episode for each, too, as it was cool to hear them. I wonder if they'll put them back in broadcast order for the DVDs.
