Just a reminder that the Presidential press conference on Tuesday will push this week's episode of "24" to Sunday night at 9 p.m. EDT.

    Story here.

The only plus I could think of is that if there is your typical 24-cliffhanger at the end of Sunday's episode, it's only a two day wait instead of a 7 day wait.

Maybe Bush could mention something about the sky falling just to put a smile on some 24 fans.

[IMG] Well that just sucks. Now, since I don't have Tivo, I'm forced to have a hell of a task in juggling 3 shows at the same time on Sunday (Alias, 24, Sopranos). But think of it like this: we now have 2 24 episodes in 3 days next week!

Hmmm... I wonder if Tru Calling might get a boost from American Idol. Tru is actually managing something resembling consistency lately.

Kinda makes me wish that President Bush would just e-mail his speech to everyone to avoid messing with 24. [IMG]

Oh, hey, there's an idea: instead of the president's weekly radio address, it could be an e-mail newsletter. Come on, White House, get with the times!

Then you'd have half the country bitching about spam from the White House... [IMG]

Canadians! Will Global still show it tonight? Their website still has it listed, but it may not reflect the change.

Canadians steal FOX's broadcast and just replace all the pretty FOX logos with their own. Plus, I don't think FOX will like having the Canadians a few days ahead of the Americans.

    Is "steal" the right word?

If 24 is not on up here tonight, I may break open the Season 2 boxset I just bought.

So would anyone else think it would be funny if Pres. Bush said "The sky is falling." in his speech tonight? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] (oops, didn't notice James mentioning this already)

The OC airs in Canada on CTV Monday's and FOX on Wednesdays.

Thus creating perfect irony after the president signed that anti-spam legislation.

All the pieces are starting to fit...

I don't watch the OC, but I find that info interesting. A couple years ago, Angel was shown(IIRC) 2 days before it aired in the states. The next year, it was the Americans ahead by a day. I think they fixed that now(Wednesdays @ 9?). Smallville in Canada is 6 days behind, or was, as I haven't seen a new episode in quite a while.

Young and Restless is aired the day before in Canada.

I just read that Global is advertising 24 for this Sunday.

Thread has been retitled to cover all scheduling changes, though no one else seems to be shuffling their lineup as much as Fox. Other changes are noted here.

    From the futon critic:

Hopefully they'll show it before the "Arrested" finale scheduled for the 25th.

Attention Canadians : It's 9:40 in NS, and my cable service schedule channel still shows 24 as being on at 10:00 pm.

We'll stay up, just in case its not a screw-up.

Edit - Well, its 10:02 now, it was a cable company "asleep at the wheel" syndrome thing, and the announcer said 24 would be shown on Sunday, and pushed the button for "That 70's Show" [IMG]

Time to go to bed with a good book...
