Recycling drivers to build a sonosub? (1 Viewer)

My friend has a couple of big NHT 4-way speakers with 15 inch drivers. He got some new speakers for his HT and he was going to sell these speakers.
Could these 15's be used to build a couple of Sonosubs?
Could someone post measurements/instructions
for doing a sonosub with a 15" driver? I like the look of the end-table style of sonosub.
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'm still a newbie with DIY speakers.

You would need to figure out the T/S specs of the drivers, as well as if it is suited for downfiring apps. I would guess they probably wouldnt work as well as drivers intended for this purpose, but who knows.

some guy named Ron Stimpson built it a while back...looks like a real piece of crap design too...I wonder who suggested it?
