I beleive that my computer has a DVD/CD R-W burner. I would like to save files to CD and then later on add files to that very same CD. Is this possible? If so, what sort of CDs do I need to buy? Are CD-Rs sufficient?

thanks

You need CD-RW's (Rewritable)for that. You can pick up a 5 or 10 pack for about $5 or so.

In some writing modes (depending on your burning software), you can simply append more stuff to a CD-R, I guess as long as you don't "close" it or finalize it. I do it all the time using Roxio Easy CD creator software at work.

yeah, in nero its called MULTISESSION...

when you first burn the CD, you select START MULTISESSION, to add files, you do CONTINUE MULTISESSION, and at the end, you CLOSE MULTISESSION
