Recommendations please for a $200 DVD player (1 Viewer)

My brother-in-law wants a DVD player and has a budget of $200. What do you recommend?

Scott, for that price you can get a Panasonic RP 56, which is a pretty good player - so I've read. For a few bucks more you can get a Toshiba 4700 - also good (I have one and like it very much). Both have received mostly good reviews.

Pioneer DV-440. It's a great sub $200 player.

Also consider the Tosh. 3750, JVC 60BK/65GD if DVD-A is not needed. I think the 440 can't be beat for MP3 and it's even thinner than the JVC's.

Both Best Buy and Circuit City is offering the JVC 65GD (or one of the 6x front panel color variants) for $200 this week.
