    Hi friends,
Need some recommendations for an upgrade of my system. I have a Infocus 340B Projector connected to a Panasonic DVD A120 player via an s-video cable. The problem is that my projector does not reproduce images from a progressive scan DVD player. My current player is a non-progressive, 4 years old, standard DVD machine, and I'm sure the tecnology today is much better than 4 years ago.
Does any have any suggestion of an excellent non-progressive DVD player to sustitute the one I have, or any kind of video processor that enhance the quality of the video signal. The image size is 90" diagonally and the screen is a Dalite 1.2 grain pull down.
In a very short time I'm going to post some pictures of my HT foo you folks.[IMG]

Why not use a htpc? If your computer you're using right now is good enough, you could at least give it a try to see if you like the idea of a htpc. Probably minimum requirements are somewhere around 1 ghz cpu, 256 ram, dvd rom drive, at the least a geforce 2 or ati radeon, and sound card with digital sound out.
