Ok - looking for "soup to nuts" home wireless LAN recommendations.
Initially for sharing ISP broadband, but keep future upgrade paths to sharing audio signals (i.e. NetGear MP101 scenario).
Already have Comcast cable w/RCA cable modem. Should I stick to 802.11g for the router/gateway in case my bandwidth needs increase, while sticking to 802.11b for the Network cards to keep overall cost down ?
I assume I'll be plugging the Cable modem to the gateway via 10BaseT, then go wireless from there ? The Cable Modem also has a USB port, but it's a couple years old so I suspect it's ver 1.0.
Any Manufacturer/Model recommendations are appreciated ! Also looking for decent nanny-gate recommendations (10 yr old starting to go online...)
Thanks !
