(Posted to Software rather than Movies because I'm specifically interested in films available on DVD.)

    Hi everybody,

I love the Criterion edition of "M" and I'm eagerly awaiting a proper edition of Metropolis. I have never seen any other Fritz Lang pictures. What would you folks recommend? A friend recommended "Fury" but there is no DVD in region 1. I will have to track down a videotape of that one.

Kino recently released "Die Neibludgen" which is a 5 hour movie based on the German epic. They're preparing a DVD of Spies as well.

Thanks, Patrick. I'll give one or both a try on the next Borders coupon.

Do you happen to have your DVD collection posted somewhere? I'd love to see a list of what is on your shelf.

I'd also recommend "Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler" from Image as well.

Have fun getting to know Lang's work!

The Big Heat is also available on DVD. [IMG]

I also recommend tracking down a VHS copy of Fury. [IMG]

I've got "The Big Heat" and "Scarlet Street." Would like to have "Human Desire" and "The Woman in the Window."

Lang's last film, The 1000 Eyes of Dr. Mabuse is also worth checking out. The DVD is available from All Day Entertainment.
